Exploring Ag met again on November 14th at Terra State Community College to hear about the hands-on career programs available and get advice about choosing the college or career that is right for each person. Eight of our Exploring Ag students were given an overview of the programs available at Terra and a tour of the entire campus. Whether a student is studying Ag, Music, or Medicine, all of the programs at Terra are very hands-on and representative of the careers.

The Exploring Ag group was able to stop by a class to hear what some of the students and teachers like about the Ag program. The students also shared the career paths that they are planning on pursuing.

The Exploring Ag students were encouraged to continue to test out the many possible careers before they have to decide so that they can save time, save money, and end up in a career they love.

About Morgan Metzger

“Land, then, is not merely soil; it is a fountain of energy flowing through a circuit of soils, plants, and animals.” ~ Aldo Leopold. Livestock production has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I come from a family farm where we raise livestock and grain. I am glad to be managing the office to help the team pull off events, accomplish our goals and build stronger farms, homes and schools in Seneca County.
