Our Candidate is Roger Fruth - Roger is a Hopewell Township farmer. He is currently on the Board of Seneca Conservation, and serves as Secretary. He raises corn, soybeans, wheat and also bales straw with his family. He farms almost all his acres using no-till and believes in the use of cover crops. Roger sees and promotes the importance of using cover crops to keep phosphorus and nutrients out of Lake Erie. Roger also actively works to improve organic material in his soil as it’s important for soil and farm health.
We welcome your vote and thank the candidate for volunteering to lead further conservation efforts in Seneca County!
