Election Details:
Individuals who own or occupy land within Seneca County and are 18 years old or older may vote in the election.
They may cast a ballot at the SCD office, 3140 S. SR 100, Suite D., Tiffin, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 12-Dec. 11.
Or, they may vote absentee from November 12-December 11 by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the SCD office by calling (419) 447-7073 or emailing [email protected].
Absentee ballots must be received by the SCD office by 4 p.m. December 11.
Two supervisors will be elected to a three‐year term, January 1, 2027-December 31, 2029.
Meet the Candidates:
Shayden Heiser and Dennis Reer
Shayden Heiser
Heiser, an Attica resident, is a row-crop and cattle producer. He is a 2022 Seneca East High School graduate and attended Terra State Community College to obtain an associate’s degree in agribusiness. He farms with his father, Irv Heiser, and they grow row-crop corn, soybeans and wheat.
Dennis Reer
Reer, a Venice Township resident, grew up on the family farm in Crawford County before moving to Seneca County nearly 30 years ago. Everything the operation does is no-till, cover crops and planting greens.
