Hear from our Wildlife Technician, Rick Hassinger, to learn everything you need to know about when to, why to, and how to prune your fruit trees!

Winter fruit tree pruning tactics: fruit tree morphology, terminology, and tools needed

Techniques: where to start and how to execute basic pruning techniques

Trimming for the future: how to employ certain cuts and the tree’s response to help direct the future growth of your tree(s)

 

We will begin the event in the Activities Building off the parking lot, however we will be going outside to the orchard. Please dress for the weather!
