Seneca Conservation District will host a Grazing with Grit event at a local farm.

The event is set for 5:30-8:15 p.m. Aug. 27 at the farm of Brad Lafontaine, 8910 S. TR 93, Carey.

“Our goal for the event is to bring fellow grazers together to learn from industry experts as well as each other. We hope the event offers an opportunity to inspire ideas for farming operations, learn something new and connect with other grazers. All producers are welcome regardless of their grazing experience,” said Maria Wagner, District Technician.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with a free dinner provided by Seneca County Cattleman’s Association at 5:45 p.m. The walk and talk with Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Bob Hendershot will start at 6:15 p.m.
