Subsurface Fertilizer Placement

The broad scale fertilizer application tool available for rent through our office places fertilizer below the surface of the soil with almost no disturbance, allowing the soil and nutrients to remain where they are needed and out of waterways. Cost share dollars through H2Ohio and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) are available to help farmers with the cost of renting the tool.

Service Inclusion

Our office will supply the equipment and the operator to perform the work, the grower will supply the fertilizer from a retailer of their choice.

This service also includes:

• A variable rate fertilizer plan that meets tri-state fertility recommendations
• The application of the fertilizer
• A digital copy of the geo spatial data as applied for record keeping
