Local students can apply for two scholarships to assist them in achieving their future goals.

The purpose of the Seneca Conservation District scholarship is to provide support for applicants pursuing science-based careers that relate to the mission of Seneca Conservation District. Work in conservation, ecology, sustainability, and agriculture are examples of some, but not all, of the related careers/majors.

The Tia J. Rice Scholarship was created to memorialize Tia Rice’s passion with youth, conservation, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for applicants pursuing education at The Ohio State University that will amplify the mission and work of Seneca Conservation District for the future. Studies in ecology, sustainability, and agriculture are examples of some, but not all, of the related careers/majors.

Scholarship applications must be mailed, e-mailed, or returned to the Seneca Conservation District office by 4:30 p.m. April 3, 2026.
