
Seeing is Believing Field Day set for June 23, 2026
Bird Agronomics and Seneca Conservation District are presenting a Farmers For Soil Health program.
The Seeing is Believing Field Day is set for 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 23rd at Margraf Family Farms, 7838 S. SR 587, McCutchenville.
Speakers will include Bret Margraf, David Kleinschmidt, Cody Beacom and Pete Conkle, and topics such as cover crops, soil function,
fertility management and grazing production will be discussed.
Lunch will be served.
Participants are invited to bring digital photos of their crop observations to share.
There is an alternative event with dinner included from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
Speakers will include Conkle, Kleinschmidt and Beacom, and topics include warm season annuals, cover crops and soil health.
There is no cost to attend either session, and the meal is included. CCA credits are available.
