Election Details:

Seneca Conservation District will be holding an election to fill two empty seats on our Supervisory Board. The seats will be for a three year term. Any person residing or owning land in Seneca County, that is at least 18 years old, can submit a vote.

 

To Vote:

  • In person at our office – 3140 S. St. Rt. 100 Suite D, Tiffin, OH, 44883
  • Request an absentee ballot by calling – 419-447-7073 – or emailing [email protected]. Completed absentee ballots must be received in our office by 4 p.m. on December 15th.

 

Voting begins at 8:00 a.m. on November 16th and ends at 4 p.m. on December 15th. Our business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

We welcome your vote and thank each of the candidates for volunteering to lead further conservation efforts in Seneca County!

Meet the Candidates:

Board Candidates (2)

Jonathan Feck

Jonathan is a Big Springs Township Farmer, raising corn, soybeans, and wheat. He also feeds out steers and works full-time off the farm. He has been employed at Ag Credit in Findlay for almost 2 years as an account officer. Jonathan’s family farm has already celebrated its 150th year and is working to be profitable and successful for many more! The opportunities that farming provides for families and communities are something Jonathan wants to promote and protect for future generations in Seneca County.


Board Candidates (1)

Joe Kimmet

Joe and his wife Sue live and farm in the Northwest part of Seneca County. He is a self-employed farmer and mechanic. Joe is also a Township Trustee. He has a passion for cover crops and no-till farming and enjoys seeing others reap the rewards of farming in healthier soil. He is currently the board president and has served on the board since 2012. He wants to serve again to continue to push Seneca County ahead in balancing for healthy soil, clean water and profitable farming.
