We Have Food Plot Seed!

Seneca Conservation District (SCD) currently has a limited supply of food plot seed available for free on a first come, first served basis.  Each bag of seed will cover approximately 1.25 acres of ground.  The seed types consist of turnips, radishes, and rapeseed that would attract deer and other brassica-loving wildlife.   Deer feed heavily on brassicas during the October to November time period and mid to late summer is an appropriate time to plant.  So if you are interested in grabbing a bag, give Rick Hassinger, SCD Wildlife Specialist, a call at (419) 447-7073.
